COMPLWISE · TRUST & TRANSPARENCY
The rules for using Complwise and requesting services.
Updated: 21 October 2026
Who supplies the service. Legal assistance is supplied by the selected lawyer who expressly accepts the request, under a direct contract with the client. Horizons Bulgaria EOOD provides a separate intermediary and technical service through Complwise for initial contact and organising the request. Complwise does not supply legal assistance or determine legal conclusions, professional judgment or substantive client communications.
€59 total for one standard service. This price covers a preliminary online consultation or review of a standard document package, not both. It consists of two separate fees: €40 lawyer’s fee + €19 Complwise commission for intermediary and technical services. These are final prices, including VAT where the relevant supplier must charge it. Non-charging of VAT does not increase the final price. The client owes the commission under separate terms with the OPERATOR; it is not a deduction from a €59 lawyer’s fee.
Further work. The lawyer and client may freely agree other services, prices and deadlines. Document drafting and filing, representation, negotiations and other legal actions are not included in a preliminary consultation. They require a separate express engagement. Complwise has no automatic entitlement to commission on subsequent agreements between them.
Acceptance and conflicts. Selecting a profile, paying or receiving an automated message does not replace the lawyer’s acceptance. Supplier identity, exact scope, price, timing and terms are confirmed before work starts. The lawyer checks competence and conflicts and may decline. Conflict information is provided directly to the lawyer; confidential reasons are not disclosed to the platform. The client chooses whether to contact another lawyer.
Timing and result. A standard consultation receives an initial substantive response within 24 calendar hours after acceptance and receipt of necessary information. Where further research is needed, the final deadline is agreed with the client. Document review takes 3–5 working days after acceptance and receipt of complete materials. Exact volume and included clarifications are disclosed before ordering. Missing essential information or an objective technical or other impediment requires notice and an agreed timetable; statutory and procedural deadlines do not stop.
Completion. Consultation is completed by delivering the agreed legal guidance; review by delivering checked/amended documents and notes. An acknowledgement, request for information or additional payment alone is not a completed service. Results are delivered directly to the client. Client silence does not waive complaints or confirm quality.
Payment and invoices. The lawyer documents their €40 supply to the client; the OPERATOR separately documents its €19 supply. A combined payment process may be used only once lawful collection and allocation to the separate recipients are arranged with the payment provider. Suppliers, price breakdown and payment method are shown before payment. Publishing these terms does not itself activate card sales. Payment under this model is not required until the relevant process and lawyer are confirmed.
Cancellation and refunds. If the request is not accepted or cannot proceed because of a conflict before work starts, prepaid €40 and €19 amounts are refunded. For partial performance, actual work, separate supplies and applicable statutory rights are considered; the commission is not unconditionally non-refundable. Consumers retain the rights in section 5. Starting before the withdrawal period expires requires a separate express request; loss of withdrawal rights after full performance applies only when all statutory conditions are met. A valid withdrawal is refunded within the applicable statutory period using the original payment method unless another lawful method is expressly agreed.
Confidentiality and complaints. Do not submit the legal file through the general contact form. Exchange documents directly with the selected lawyer through the agreed protected channel; request an alternative to Viber when needed. Address legal-work concerns to the lawyer and Complwise-service concerns to info@complwise.com. The platform does not assess legal conclusions or require confidential materials for reporting. Each party is responsible for its own activities. Data-protection roles and safeguards.
These special terms apply to new requests for which they are supplied and accepted. They do not retrospectively amend existing agreements or restrict mandatory rights.
Documents are provided in Word (.docx) and PDF formats as specified for the service. Receiving them does not include a Microsoft Office or other paid editor licence; they can be opened with a compatible application.
